Mr. Medeiros, Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner, is a care provider who makes it possible for Advanced Orthopedics to provide extra attention to our patients. His service allows us to offer more one-on-one time with patients – and Mr. Medeiros acts as assistant surgeon in the more complex surgeries. He is a highly skilled team member that provides another link in the continuity of care concept.

Mr. Medeiros received his orthopedic training at UCSF Orthopedic Surgeon’s Residency program and served at University Medical Center - Fresno, which included practice as a member of the Level 1 trauma unit there. He also served two years in a knee & shoulder specialty practice as well as two years in a large general orthopedic practice with a high Worker’s Compensation base.

Mr. Medeiros also has surgical privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Gatos Community Hospital, O’Connor Hospital, as well as Advanced Surgery Center, Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center, Bay Area Surgical Group; Bascom, Silicon Valley, Waverley, and Advanced Surgery Centers. Mr. Medeiros was an assistant surgeon for Dr. Kauffman and also periodically stands as the assistant surgeon for 8 other orthopedic surgeons, including leading spine and sports medicine surgeons in the Bay Area.
