Can I get right in if I call for an appointment?
Generally, yes.. If you have a new injury or acute problem, every effort is made to see you the same day or the following day if at all possible. We do take referrals from other physicians.

How long is the initial evaluation appointment?
Approximately 30-45 minutes.

If I get injured should I use ice or heat?
Within the first 72 hours after the immediate injury, ice should be used to help with pain and inflammation. In addition if you've recently had surgery, ice should be used.

What are some of the things I should look for after an injury to determine if I should seek immediate help by a physician?
Immediate treatment should be sought for an open wound, severe pain, lack of motion, deformity, severe swelling, or numbness at the injured site.

If I have had a total joint replacement do I need a card or letter for airport travel and / or dental procedures?
If you have had a total joint replacement the answer is usually yes. Ask your doctor to be sure and if necessary we can provide you with this documentation.
